LB...Take II

Speaking of watching babies grow up together, there isn't anything quite like adding grandbabies to the mix. After Beth, Andrew and Eliza left, we stayed at the beach awaiting the arrival of Jacob, Trish and sweet Dakota-rota. This was our second annual beach trip. Last year we didn't have any babes (only one on the way) and this year, we have two! Wonder what next year will be like?? Papa may have to upgrade to the Suburban.

We had a wonderful time!! The usual activities took place: laying on the beach, walking, riding Herby, playing games, riding bicycles, but the company was extra special. It's so special to have the whole family together and I hope one day maybe we can all live within at least an hour of one another....we'll see about that. Dakota is growing so fast...now 14 months! She is walking, saying some words, and into everything. She is a sweet mess. Toddlers are so much fun!

Also, I want to give a shout out to my parents, who are the best grandparents around. Really. They love and take care of these babies like they are their own children. It really helps to give the parents a break! Thank you Gigi and Papa for all your help!! We LOVE YOU!
