Memphis.

As most of you probably know, and as I've blogged about before, my brother and SIL and sweet niece live in Memphis, TN. We try to go as much as we can, but it's a 8 hour drive, so it's not something we can do too often! Last weekend when we went, we flew and it was Oliver's first time flying. He did great. He cried for a small part on the way home, but other than that, he was such a champ. He did get a cold when we got home which I halfway expected since babies always seem to get sick on airplanes, but we had a great time and it was worth it!

Some highlights:
-Seeing that sweet baby of theirs.
-Being let in on a surprise...Jacob and Trish have bought some gorgeous land outside of Memphis and plan on building there.
-A long walk and a morning in the park.
-Beautiful weather.
-Spending time with Papa, as he is out of town a lot these days.
-Jacob getting his truck stuck in the mud and being late to pick us up.
-And, as a consequence of the previous highlight, riding 5 adults and 2 babies around in a pontiac vibe all weekend. Good times.

It was so good to see this sweet family, and we decided on this trip that we should definitely see each other at least every two months. We've got it down pat until Christmas, after that we shall see!
