Sky top: We went to Sky Top apple orchard back in September as a family. It was a weekend that we had scheduled to go camping, but rain was forecasted so we decided to have a staycation. Oliver had a blast and still talks about our staycation. Lots of mornings when we get up, he asks if we're having a staycation today. To his dismay, we're usually going to the grocery store and the bank. Every day is a staycation for a kid, right?
Our second day of staycation, we hiked around Paris Mountain, grilled hotdogs, ate smores, and chased geese. You know, normal stuff.
Our third day of staycation, we visited the Georgia Aquarium, but we didn't get any great pictures from that fun adventure. Since there was rain forecasted for our staycation weekend, we didn't go camping. But, alas, it was sunny the whole time, which we were thankful for. A couple of weekends later we decided to try again. We met my brother and his family in Kentucky for a fun camping weekend. Guess what?! It rained the whole time. Oh, the irony.
In other news, we've started teaching a Sunday school class, attended an adoption conference, traveled to Memphis for a visit with The Solemates and enjoyed the fall festivals in Memphis and Greenville. Stay tuned for more updates on the adoption and beyond! What are you up to this fall?
